LOST: My Car Key

LOST: My Car Key is my very first short film I ever created. It's a simple short film, but a smart one. I tried to create an entertaining short that would appeal to a more intelligent viewer. See if you can find the metaphor in this short film. The short is about a man who wake up for work one morning and realizes he has misplaced his car key. In a desperate effort to track it down before becoming late for work, our hero finds himself lost in his own environment. This was designed to play into the television show LOST. Please tell me what you think. By the way, we won the only contest we ever entered, which was the MySpace MyEmmy Contest of 2007. By winning that contest we were automatically enrolled into the 2007 Broadband Emmy’s which we did not win. Still it is nice to be considered.

Welcome to my NEW! blog

Greetings. If you found my blog by just happenstance, let me be the first one to say welcome. My name is Mike Casentini. I’m and actor and comedian, living the dream in Los Angeles. I moved to Los Angeles in 2001 and began performing standup comedy in August 2002. Since then, I’ve been working on my craft. My goal is to be a house hold name one day. I perform mainly in Los Angeles, due to my overwhelm work schedule I am unable to tour the country. That is sure to change this year. I’m looking forward to hitting the road with my good friend Bryan Callen sometime late 2008. We are putting the show together as we speak. Also stay tuned for all sorts of new ventures this year from both My Fault Films and my new venture with Bryan Callen called Ribbiter.com.
